Websites and SEO for plumbing and HVAC companies
One website for your plumbing and HVAC company, built for both seasons.
Why plumbing and HVAC companies often win the map pack
In our October 2026 samples of the Google map results for “plumber” in Austin and Boise, regional shops doing plumbing alongside HVAC (and often electrical) held several of the top spots. That makes sense: more services means more jobs, more reviews and more reasons for Google to treat the business as prominent.
The website has to keep up with that breadth. A multi-trade shop with one “Services” page listing twenty jobs gives Google nothing to rank for any one of them.
A page for every service in both trades
Customers search for the job: “water heater replacement,” “furnace repair,” “AC not cooling,” “drain cleaning near me.” Each service you offer gets its own page, with your towns, how the job goes, and honest price ranges. The navigation groups them by trade so a customer finds plumbing or heating and cooling in one tap.
Some services sit in both trades (water heaters, gas lines, water treatment). They get one page, written once, so the two trades never compete with each other in search.
Seasonal pages, ready before the peak
Plumbing searches swing hard with the weather. In our keyword data, searches for frozen pipes are about 50 times higher in January than in June, “24 hour plumber near me” is about 7 times higher in February than in November, and water heater installation peaks in October. Heating and cooling add their own swings.
The monthly audit plans for that: winter pages (frozen pipes, burst pipes, no heat, no hot water) get refreshed in October and November, not in January when the phones are already ringing. Seasonal work only applies where your climate calls for it.
One Google Business Profile, done right
Our team tunes up and keeps up your profile by hand: the primary category that matches most of your work, the other trade as a secondary category, every service listed, and your service areas (Google allows up to 20 (source: support.google.com)) matching your website.
We keep your business name exactly as it is on your license and trucks. Google’s guidelines say adding unnecessary information to a business name can lead to suspension (source: support.google.com).
